I’m Paul Williams. I live in South Florida, where I practice and live out my technology passion.

My professional journey took off at Premiere Global Services (PGI), where I cut my teeth as a Network Technician. This role was my first real exposure to the complexities and challenges of managing large-scale infrastructure, and it sparked a lifelong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

From there, I moved on to Saveology.com, where I quickly progressed from a NOC and Helpdesk Engineer to a Telecom Engineer. Here, I realized the immense value of automation and efficiency in tech operations using Open Source tools.

My tenure at 3CInteractive (now Cisco) marked a significant period of growth and achievement. Initially joining as a System Engineer, I was exposed to the intricacies of a microservice based SaaS platform. Working closely with development teams, I administered highly available private and public cloud environments.

Promoted to Technical Operations Manager, I led a team of systems engineers in managing core infrastructure. My leadership and vision fostered a high-performing culture and resulted in the evolution towards CI/CD based infrastructure that enhanced our operational capabilities.

In 2019, I joined TransUnion as a Systems Engineering Manager covering devops and infrastructure. Leading a team of engineers, we hit 99.99% platform uptime. I spearheaded security compliance audits and drove critical business initiatives that saved the organization over a million dollars in operational costs.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to mentoring and developing high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work culture. My technical expertise spans DevOps, full stack infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, and security compliance, making me a versatile and valuable asset to any organization.
